ABA's 125th Anniversary

In 2022, we celebrate ABA's Members, our association's 125th Anniversary, and the bright future of the baking community.

Founded in 1897, the American Bakers Association has evolved through the years into the ABA you know today, advocating on behalf of one of the largest food manufacturing sectors.

In addition to celebrating ABA's 125th Anniversary in 2022, we are also celebrating the resilience of the industry and its accomplishments. Despite the pandemic and other challenges, nearly 800,000 people continue to create a rich and vibrant community.

Celebrating at ABA Events in 2022

The ABA Convention, March 27-30 in Palm Springs, California, themed “Celebrate Bakery” included a focus on the industry’s accomplishments, ABA’s milestone, and the future of the baking community.
The association will highlight the milestone at numerous other meetings, including those of its professionals group conferences.
The commemoration will continue at the International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE), in Las Vegas from September 17-21.
ABA will also illuminate the anniversaries of member companies, which are encouraged to let ABA know of recent or upcoming milestones.
