The State Affairs Group tracks bills introduced in state legislatures and takes action on the state level to promote the interests of baking companies. ABA Members gain an understanding of future legislative activity in other states or nationwide.

The State Affairs Working Group works on all of ABA’s core issues, including workforce, sustainability, logistics, and nutrition.

Staying ahead of state issues

The pace of states’ legislative processes and priorities combined with complicated schedules and sometimes very short sessions make state advocacy much different than federal advocacy. ABA’s strategic, focused approach provides Members with highly effective solutions.
