ABA's 2021 Annual Report

Highlighting Accomplishments

As we anticipate what the future will bring, it is important to look back and appreciate all ABA and our Members were able to accomplish together in 2021.  

In 2021, ABA: 

• Advocated for common sense federal government solutions to support the baking industry’s unwavering commitment to employee safety. 
• Built a suite of successful virtual meetings programs to ensure the baking industry stayed connected when they could not do so in person. 
• Grew the Bakers Manufacturing Academy (BMA) to include Baking Basics 101 in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Variety Hearth Breads, Tortillas, Hamburger/Hotdog Buns, and Sheeting and Laminating. 
• Expanded our resources available to help ABA members recruit and retain the industry’s workforce. 
• Expanded the ABA membership, further expanding the reach, depth and value of the ABA community, even through these challenging times.   

ABA's membership - and the industry at large - persevered through so many challenges during the last several years. It is an honor to partner with our Members as we look forward continuing achieving results in 2022.
