Attendees are assigned a team, where each person has different expertise and is not from the same company. They’re asked to discuss industry challenges affecting the industry focusing on People, Process, and Production. Then the group is given time to develop their ideas through flash brainstorming exercises, group discussions, and working together to find a solution or improvement to their challenge.
At the end of the session, the pressure is on. Teams have to wow the room with a quick elevator pitch to share their solution. Is it innovative? Does it solve the problem? Is it do-able? In a room full of experts, it’s a tough crowd. What would impress them?
In the end, only two teams can walk away with the top prizes: best idea and most creative pitch.
In reality, though, everyone at IncuBAKER is a winner. Here’s why: it’s not everyday people have the opportunity to think outside of the box in this sort of environment.
- Maybe this session will spark an idea that can be put into action at their plant.
- Perhaps IncuBAKER will spur new innovation initiatives in a facility.
- Or IncuBAKER could be the start of the idea that will end up saving the company a lot of money.
