Each year the American Meat Institute holds a "Hot Dog Lunch" on Capitol Hill. It's a perfect combination with the American Bakers Association as you can't have a hot dog without a bun. Today's event was well attended, drawing many members of Congress and their staffs.

The event was a great success with generous sponsorships from ABA members Bimbo Bakeries USA, Safeway Inc., and Tasty Baking Company. In addition to enjoying hot dogs, attendees were able to seek autographs from baseball legends, Ron Guidry of the New York Yankees, Lee Smith of the Chicago Cubs and Dale Murphy of the Atlanta Braves who were on hand for this event.
